Philip provides advice predominantly in property and commercial law. He has extensive expertise in the sale and purchase of residential, commercial and rural property in the region. Philip also acts for numerous prominent development companies, handling major subdivisions with exceptional proficiency. He holds a breadth of experience as a general practitioner with a focus on construction and company law through to estate work, wills, power of attorney and family trusts. His deep understanding of client demands enables him to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
Born and bred on a sixth-generation family farm, Philip has a particular interest in succession planning in the rural sector, putting structures and arrangements in place to provide for the sale or the purchase and the transfer of family farms from one generation to the next. Due to his own rural background in the Waikato region Philip has a deep commitment to those farming families seeking advice for their own farm successions, listening carefully to draft tailored plans as required. He applies real-world aptitude in bringing parties together to achieve the best possible outcome.

Background
Philip graduated from Waikato University in 2005 with a double degree in law and management (majoring in accounting) of which he regularly taps into when dealing with business transactions.

Outside interests
Philip is kept busy with his young family in Karaka, and when time allows he enjoys spending time on the family farm and tinkering on vintage tractors and classic cars.
