Patrick applies an astute business acumen to all property transactions and works with a range of clients from first home buyers through to property investors. With a breadth and depth of expertise in property law, Patrick is also well-versed in understanding the common concerns his clients may have and provides comprehensive legal guidance. Clients appreciate his ability to explain how the process works in a clear and responsive manner. 

Well-respected in the market, Patrick maintains a strong client base in the South Auckland community providing guidance to individuals on a range of personal affairs they may face during their lifetime, he has specialised experience in estate planning. Patrick enjoys building close relationships, working with clients to create personalised and appropriate asset planning structures to meet their objectives, providing the benefit of peace of mind.

Patrick is recognised for his depth of experience combined with empathy and a willingness to listen, he believes in clear, simple communication which is accessible and timely. 

Background

Patrick is a true local, he attended Rosehill College followed by Auckland University in 1994. Following this he completed two years of missionary service in Australia, and on his return worked at Buddle Findlay then Minter Ellison before joining Rice Craig in 2009.

Patrick enjoys working at Rice Craig and values the extremely good relationships across the entire team. He is proud to be working with a firm with a century-old legacy, often working with individuals and families across generations. He believes one of the success factors for Rice Craig is due to the breadth of skills within the firm which enables the ability to refer clients within the team for further service. 

Outside interests

Outside of work Patrick enjoys his local area and spending time with his family. As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he has commitments to the church community.
