Brijesh is a solicitor at Rice Craig.

‘I take pride in my work and strive to provide practical advice in all legal matters, so clients can achieve their business objectives.’

Brijesh joined Rice Craig in July 2024 and works closely with partner Scott Hunter to assist individuals and businesses with their various legal commercial needs.

Brijesh’s primary area of practice is in commercial and corporate law, covering a broad scope of legal matters from buying or selling of businesses to the preparation and review of constitutions, shareholder agreements and various other contracts. Brijesh recognises that in commercial transactions clients value practical advice and certainty therefore a key focus is to undertake careful revision of any given provision in an agreement so risks are clearly identified. In addition, Brijesh works with individuals to navigate the process of residential and commercial property matters, whether that be reviewing titles or advising on obligations present in the agreement.

Brijesh also assists families with aspects of estate planning, listening attentively and communicating clearly advice that is tailored to their needs.

Brijesh has quickly learnt that Rice Craig aims to place their clients’ needs foremost, and the importance of building strong client relationships has been paramount to the firm’s century-old success. These values have helped Brijesh continue to develop his sharp client focus and have accentuated his own personal motivation and interest in getting to know those he serves.

Background

Brijesh graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce in 2023 and was admitted to the bar in May 2024. He is proud to be part of Rice Craig’s collaborative and supportive culture which allows him to further grow and refine his skillset under the expert guidance of Scott Hunter.
