Jacob Davis is a solicitor at Rice Craig, his practice spans residential and commercial property transactions, business sales and purchases, leasing, and general commercial advice.

Jacob works closely with partner Scott Hunter, assisting a wide range of clients with their commercial and property needs.  

Known for his practical and client-focused approach, Jacob strives to ensure that clients feel informed and supported throughout every step of their matter.  He places a strong emphasis on attention to detail and clear communication, recognising that legal transactions often require both precision and a strong understanding of client objectives.

Background

Jacob immigrated to New Zealand from Northern Ireland at age 16.  He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Auckland University of Technology and was admitted to the bar in February 2024.  Jacob previously worked at another South Auckland law firm and has been working in the legal sector since 2022.  Jacob values Rice Craig’s collaborative culture and longstanding commitment to client service.

Outside interests

Jacob enjoys watching Premier League football, spending time with family and friends, and exploring New Zealand’s outdoors through hiking.
