Stephen Temm
consultant - Rice Craig
Stephen initially practised law with Kensington Swan in their Auckland office.
In 1985 he moved to Papakura, and from 1989 through to 2008 he operated there as a sole practitioner. He joined Rice Craig in August 2008. He is married to Wendy and has four (almost) adult daughters and three adult step-sons.
Outside of his family and his work, he has been actively involved in sports coaching and administration since 1985. Initially he coached various rugby teams in the Counties Manukau area. He then spent 12 years as the Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union’s Complaints Review (Citing) Officer. Since 2001 he has coached, managed and/or selected various Auckland age-group representative cricket teams, and he has recently resumed coaching rugby.
He is a life member of the Sacred Heart College Old Boys Association.
Primary Areas of Practice:
After initially spending several years as a litigator, Stephen’s 20 year stint as a sole practitioner has seen him discontinue that role and move into general practice.
Of late, he has focused on residential and commercial matters, family trusts, wills, estates, challenges to wills and estates, and several aspects of family law. He prides himself on providing his clients with a personal, effective and cost-efficient service.
